Thank you for scheduling your BIP assessment with OVM.

What happens now?
  • ​You will receive appointment confirmations and reminders via e-mail and/or text message.
  • If you have not already, please pay your assessment fee in full at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment. We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, cash, or check.

      OVM is a non-profit, so it may appear to be a "donation"; this IS your payment.
  • ​If your fee has been paid, you will receive an email to sign some online documents the day before your assessment.

What happens after the assessment?
The assessment will determine if you are appropriate for BIP group.  We will notify your supervising officer with a recommendation in 2-4 weeks.
If you are found appropriate:
  • You will participate in an orientation appointment ($30 fee).
  • You will need to attend for credit for 24 weeks' worth of weekly group sessions. Group also operates via Ring Central video call or in a hybrid format in our office. There are weekday and evening groups. You will indicate your preferences for session schedule at orientation.
  • Group session fees start at $30 per class and may be reduced on a sliding scale based on financial need.

Primary program goals include 
  • Increasing the safety of victims and families
  • Encouraging participants to name and evaluate the impact of their behavior
  • Developing non-controlling and nonviolent skills for relating in intimate relationships
